Aquafari's underwater scooter is built around a bell-shaped glass dome that sits over your head, supplied with air from a scuba tank mounted on the front of the scooter, so you breathe normally the whole ride, no regulator in your mouth and no diving experience required. A professional diver leads the trip, the controls get a full briefing (about 30 minutes before you set off), a wetsuit is not required, and lockers are available at the departure point at Boka Sami beach. Alongside the Sea TREK helmet walk, it is one of the few ways on the island to spend real time under the surface without swimming skills.
