Curacao's diving identity is shore diving, and this is the record on this list for divers who already carry a certification. The operator heads out every morning by car for a two-tank run across the island's shore-entry sites: the Tugboat wreck, the coral at Directors Bay, the strange terrain of the Carpile, with a full-day option toward the west side also on the menu. Expect reef fish in volume plus turtles, lobsters and rays, in a small private group with a professional guide. The reef tax (Environmental Management Charge) and bottled water are included.
