Its genuinely distinctive asset is not the decor or the dining. What Sunscape Curacao actually is
It is a large, older, all-ages all-inclusive on the south coast, on Dr. M. L. King Boulevard, the coast road running east out of Willemstad toward the Curacao Sea Aquarium. That detail matters more than it sounds, and we come back to it below, because a lot of published advice puts this resort somewhere it is not.
The all-inclusive covers what you would expect: unlimited meals, drinks and snacks, daily activities, nightly entertainment, non-motorized water sports, wifi, and access to the children's and teens' clubs. Dining is six restaurants (a buffet, three a la carte venues, a grill and a cafe) plus seven bars and lounges, and reservations are not required at the a la carte restaurants, which is a real advantage over resorts that make you book dinner on arrival day. There is a swim-up pool bar, a separate children's pool, an on-site casino, and the Sunscape Spa.
For families, the supervised clubs are real and age-split: the Explorer's Club takes children ages 3 to 12, and the Core Zone takes teens ages 13 to 17. The resort fronts roughly 1,500 feet of real, open resort beach, and per the Curacao Tourist Board's listing it sits directly in front of the island's National Underwater Park, the protected reef that runs from about this point east to the island's far tip. Sunscape is effectively its western marker.
What that means practically: snorkel gear is part of the all-inclusive, along with kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, and the reef is close enough to get in from the sand rather than booking a boat. On most Caribbean islands that access is a morning excursion and a separate line on your bill. Here it is a walk across the beach. This is the most common Curacao all-inclusive question, and most answers online start from a wrong premise, so let us fix that first.
Dreams Curacao and Zoetry Curacao are the two that sit together on Piscadera Bay, west of Willemstad. They function as a pair: Zoetry guests get full access to Dreams facilities, with transportation between the two included. Sunscape is not part of that pair. It sits on the opposite side of Willemstad, and in the same exchange program documentation, transportation to Sunscape is specifically excluded. If you have read that these three form one beachfront complex, that is not correct, and it changes the decision.

Zoetry Curacao is the quietest, smallest and most expensive of the three, a 72-suite boutique property on Piscadera Bay. The recurring themes in published guest feedback are consistent enough to plan around. Guests commonly note rooms that feel dated and smaller than expected, and air conditioning performance is the single most repeated complaint. Buffet quality and food temperature come up regularly, as do long waits at the a la carte restaurants and at check-in. What guests consistently praise is the beach, the ease of getting into the water, the location next to Mambo Beach, and individual staff members by name.
